JAB SAIYAAN Hindi LYRICS - Shreya Ghoshal | Alia Bhatt

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko Sar pe rakh ke naach phiri main Har jalte huye iljaam ko Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko Deewar-O-Dar chaukhat waukhat Ban gaye hai sab saheli Ye kuch puchhe, wo kuch puchhe Kitne jawaab doon main akeli Hazaaron kaam mil gaye hai Yun baithe bithaaye iss nakaam ko Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko Khud ko dekhne tak ki bhi Fursat mujhko nahi milti Unke Ishq ke noor ke aage Samma nahi jalti Khud ko dekhne tak ki bhi Fursat mujhko nahi milti Unke Ishq ke noor ke aage Samma nahi jalti Laakhon naaz lag gaye hai Phir guroor ki iss badnaam ko Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko Sar pe rakh ke naach phiri main Har jalte huye iljaam ko

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko

Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko

Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko

Sar pe rakh ke naach phiri main

Har jalte huye iljaam ko

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko

Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko

Deewar-O-Dar chaukhat waukhat

Ban gaye hai sab saheli

Ye kuch puchhe, wo kuch puchhe

Kitne jawaab doon main akeli

Hazaaron kaam mil gaye hai

Yun baithe bithaaye iss nakaam ko

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko

Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko

Khud ko dekhne tak ki bhi

Fursat mujhko nahi milti

Unke Ishq ke noor ke aage

Samma nahi jalti

Khud ko dekhne tak ki bhi

Fursat mujhko nahi milti

Unke Ishq ke noor ke aage

Samma nahi jalti

Laakhon naaz lag gaye hai

Phir guroor ki iss badnaam ko

Jab saiyaan aaye shaam ko

Toh lag gaye chaand mere naam ko

Sar pe rakh ke naach phiri main

Har jalte huye iljaam ko

JAB SAIYAAN Hindi LYRICS - Shreya Ghoshal | Alia Bhatt💖

All of us have songs that remind us of our first love, especially if you’re like me and have been in love with Bollywood music all your life! While most people might not be able to relate to one of the country’s biggest singing sensations, Alia Bhatt, they can definitely fall in love with her voice when it’s joined by another sensation – the singer Shreya Ghoshal! The two collaborated on an exquisite lullaby and we can’t get enough of it!This lullaby sings of our connection to a deeper self, nature and everything that surrounds us.

The musical pieces were originally composed by Shekar Ravjiani but resonated with Alia so deeply that she wanted to create her own version and sing it as a lullaby. I loved what they had done with these songs and they gave me freedom to reinterpret them from my point of view as a singer. – AliaJab Se Tere Naina is a Hindi song from Shah Rukh Khan's 2012 film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The lyrics of Jab Se Tere Naina are penned by Anvita Dutt Guptan and sung by celebrated playback singer Shreya Ghoshal. The soothing track features a duet between two prominent Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan.

Actress Alia Bhatt and singer Shreya Ghoshal are helping kick-start a new project that’s aimed at showcasing their love for mother tongue—Hindi. Alia composed a song based off a lullaby in Hindi called Jab saiyaan bina rang todi (When colour started to fade) which tells of how a baby boy is growing up and leaving his momma behind. The lyrics are written by poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The melody of Jab Se Aaya captures both singers' nuanced vocals with their distinct tonalities and timbres—it's impossible to imagine anyone else singing either part. The video matches that sentiment, as it's a departure from Alia and Shreya's more elaborate sets, but there is no less beauty in these simple images. The lyrics are a simple monologue by Alia in which she expresses her yearning for her lover to return. She talks about seeing him in places that he frequents as well as thinking about him at times when she should be sleeping. Her words are backed by gentle music and beautiful vocals from Shreya Ghoshal.
